For example, approximately  12 years ago, I was in a show at the Soap Factory with Bruce Tapola and two other people.  I had also just returned from an extended trip to Mexico where I (among other things) became fascinated by the presence of plastic garbage in extremely remote, almost ‘wilderness’ stretches of uninhabited beach.

Now, many years later, this material- plastic garbage- is an important part of my investigation and I am submitting a proposal to the Soap Factory to show work based on this initial investigation.  How cool would it be if I could bring this completed body of work ‘home’ to the exhibition forum which supported the initial investigation.
